KDJ represents utilities, renewable energy, power generation, industrial facilities, engineering consultants, distributors, and more.

Proven ability to combine technical, negotiating and sales skills to help our customers solve their most challenging problems with our line of solutions from the top industry-leading manufacturers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead business development efforts in assigned territory of Central Texas to introduce KDJ products, services and solutions to new and existing customers.
  • Visit customer facilities to evaluate needs and provide comprehensible solutions through product demonstrations and training courses.
  • Work with Regional VP/Regional Director to develop sales forecasts and strategic plans and perform activities to meet/exceed those plans
  • Plan and execute strategies to secure new business and achieve breakthrough orders with un-served customers
  • Collaborate with Regional VP, Regional Director, Inside Sales & Other Sales Representatives to contribute to overall KDJ success
  • Participate in KDJ and Industry technical meetings, and conferences
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge of all KDJ Product Lines
  • Maintain customer database for customer sales and application information
  • Other duties as assigned



Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in technical sales or specifying, applying and/or maintaining power system products
  • Experience working directly with or for end-users, distributors and sales partners
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills in a sales environment
  • Proven skills in effective territory and personal schedule management in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment



Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
